Supporting Guide-Dogs Association
South Africa
My personal story...

In February 2019, Iwas diagnosed with Ushers Syndrome 2, an inherited genetic condition characterised by hearing impairment and gradual vision loss caused by retinitis pigmentosa.
While I have always coped with my hearing impairment throughout my life, it has been the gradual vision loss that I have found to be frightening and frustrating. However, I have been very fortunate to have been introduced to Guide-Dogs Association in Johannesburg, South Africa and my journey with them has been truly phenomenal in giving me back my independence, confidence and freedom.

My Pledge...

As a way to give back to this wonderful organisation, I am pledging 10% of my coaching fees to Guide-Dogs Association, in particular, to their Orientation & Mobility Department.
