California white sage, also known as sacred sage, grows naturally between Santa Barbara and northern Baja California. Traditionally used by Native American tribes, this fragrant and silvery-leafed perennial shrub with white flowers is considered to have healing, purification, and cleansing properties. The leaves and sticks of white sage are still used today for smudging rituals.
Our Californian white sage is organically and sustainably cultivated. The plant materials are hand-picked with care, respect, and humility.
Our Californian white sage powder is a blend of residual leaves and sticks from our smudge sticks. It's perfect for purification and cleansing rituals, with its earthy, aromatic smoke, known to dispel negative and stagnant energies.
It's easy to use! Place a teaspoon of powder in a small seashell or clay pot and once lit, let it smoulder. Alternatively, sprinkle on a piece of burning coal or fire for rituals and ceremonies.

Return Policy for Californian White Sage Products
- We accept returns for Californian white sage products that have been damaged during delivery.
- All delivery fees for returning the damaged item and receiving a replacement are for the buyer's account.
- Items must be returned in sale condition (in the original packaging, unopened, and with any labels and other items included) with proof of purchase.
- Kindly notify us within 2 days if you have received damaged goods. A photograph of the damaged item must be emailed to us at journeytreehealing@gmail.com for assessment.
- Returns must be made within 7 days of the purchase date.
